Ingredients

  • Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Italian dressing

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken.
  2. Place the chicken breasts into a resealable bag or shallow container. Pour the Italian dressing evenly over the meat, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 6 hours for deeper flavor.
  3. Grill the chicken.
  4. Preheat either an outdoor grill or indoor grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking. Transfer the chicken to the heated grill and cook for approximately 4 to 6 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature registers 160°F (70°C).
  5. Rest and serve.
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill and allow it to rest for several minutes. This step retains the juices within the meat, resulting in a moist and flavorful finish. Serve immediately.
  7. Storage guidance.
  8. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. For ease of reheating, consider slicing, shredding, or dicing the chicken before freezing.
